There was a man sent from God whose name was John. The same came for a witness to bear the witness of the light, that all men through him might believe. I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness.

Commentary by Sri Yukteswar
When a man directs all his organs of sense, towards their common center, the sensorium or Sushumna Dwara, the door of the internal world, he perceives his God sent a luminous body of Radha or John the Baptist and hears the peculiar knocking sound, Pranava Shabda, the word of God.
