Prayer for Spiritual Advancement
ॐ असतोमा सद्गमय ।
तमसोमा ज्योतिर् गमय ।
मृत्योर्मामृतं गमय ॥

Om, O Infinite One, lead me from untruth to the truth, lead me from darkness of ignorance to enlightenment of self-realization, lead me from spiritual death to self-awareness. May the shining Soul manifest in me. O God, may your benign grace save me from the bondage of disease, ignorance, and death forever. We perceive him as Mahadeva, the God of Gods, and meditate on Him as the Supreme One. May He, The Destroyer of obstacles (Lord Rudra), lead us to Self-Realization. Om.

Om is the symbol of the Paramatman or Supreme Self, indwelling and enlivening the worlds of matter, energy and consciousness. The universe has 7 speheres, i.e.,
- The World of Material Things (both movable and immovable)
- The World of the invisible and Celestial beings
- The World of Gods
- The World of Brilliance
- The World of Ascetics
- The World of Truthful
May we meditate on the adorable splendor of the Paramatman, who manifests as the Divine Being in the Sun, who is the Protector, the Nourisher, and the Illuminer of the universe. May the Supreme Beng inspire, guide us to spiritual perfection and Supreme Knowledge. Om.

Om, May Lord Mitra confer the joy of spiritual wisdom on us!. May Lord Varuna confer the joy of spiritual wisdom on us. May Lord Aryaman confer the joy of spiritual wisdom on us. May Lord Indra and Lord Vrihaspati confer the joy of spiritual wisdom on us. May the Omnipresent Lord Vishnu shower the joy of spiritual wisdom on us. Salutation to Lord Brahma the Selfborn. I bow down in reverence to Lord Vayu., you are the visible form of Brahman. You are the Vedas, you are the Righteousness, you are the Truth. May Brahman protect us.

O Power of God, Bless me that my body, limbs, and organs become well-nourished and strong. My power of speech, vital energy or Prana, Power of vision and eyes, Power of hearing and ears, my strength, vitality, and all the parts and limbs of mine are the power of God, Brahmam as mentioned in the Upanishads. May I never deny my oneness with Him? May my oneness with the Power of God and God’s Oneness with me be well established and remembered. May all the positive and divine qualities and divine qualities mentioned in the Upanishad, repose in me and be manifested in me. May there be peace, peace, and peace only.

Om., The Invisible, Un-manifested source of the visible and perceptible creation is complete and full always. Also the visible and perceptible creation in full and complete in all aspects. Even if the full, complete and total creation seems to have come out of the full, complete & unmanifested Power of God, that remains full, complete and total and this also is full, complete and Total.
