ओ३म् वेदाहमेतं पुरुषं महान्तमादित्यवर्णं तमसः परस्तात्।
SVETASVATARA UPANISHAD – 3.8
तमेव विदित्वाति मृत्युमेति नान्यः पन्था विद्यतेऽयनाय।।
Aum vedahmetam purusham mahantam adityavarnam tamasaha parastat
tameva viditvati mrityumeti; nanya pantha vidyate ayanaya
English Translation:
Aum, The God-Realized Master is chanting – I realize the Greatest of the great Being Who shines like the brilliant Sun and dispels all darkness. Only by realizing Him one can go beyond the cycle of birth and death. One can go beyond extreme ignorance of the Inner Self. There is no other way to gain Knowledge and Liberation

तमसोमाज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्माअमृतंगमय ।

tamaso maa jyotirgamaya |
mrutyor maa amrtamgamaya |
Aum shaantih shaantih shaantih ||
English Translation:
Aum, Lead us from untruth to Truth. Lead us from darkness to Light. Lead us from mortality to Immortality

ॐसहनाववतु ।
SHANTI MANTRA
सहनौभुनक्तु ।
सहवीर्यंकरवावहै ।
तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तुमाविद्विषावहै ।
ॐशान्तिःशान्तिःशान्तिः ॥
Aum saha nau-avatu |
saha nau bhunaktu |
saha viiryam karava-avahai |
tejasvi nau-adhii-tam-astu maa vidviss-aavahai |
Aum shaantih shaantih shaantih ||
SHANTI MANTRA
English Translation:
Aum, May we live together harmoniously. May we enjoy the fruits of our spiritual and material practice. May we do worthy and noble acts together. May our memory and intellect be full of brilliance. May we never hate each other.

सर्वेभद्राणिपश्यन्तु माकश्चिद्दुःखभाग्भवेत् ।
ॐशान्तिःशान्तिःशान्तिः ॥Aum sarve bhavantu sukhinah sarve santu nir-aamayaah
sarve bhadraanni pashyantu maa kashcid-duhkha-bhaag-bhavet
Aum shaantih shaantih shaantih
English Translation:
Aum, May all enjoy happiness. May all be free from diseases. May all become noble and spiritual. May none suffer any type of affliction. Peace, peace, peace.
