On Peace

भावाभावविहीनो यस्तृप्तो निर्वासनो बुधः।
नैव किंचित्कृतं तेन  लोकदृष्ट्या विकुर्वता॥१८- १९॥
bhava bhavavihino yastrupto nirvasano budhah 
naiva kimchit kritaṃ tena loka dristaya vikurvata 

Astabakra Samhita Chapter 18 Verse 19

He who is above existence and non existence, who has wisdom, who has no desire, who is self sufficient, really does nothing in spite of the fact that others feel that he is acting.

The True Knower

निर्ममो निरहंकारो  न किंचिदिति निश्चितः।
अन्तर्गलितसर्वाशः  कुर्वन्नपि करोति न॥१७- १९॥
nirmamo nirahaṃkāro na kiṃchiditi niśchitaḥ
antar galita sarvāśaḥ kurvannapikaroti na 

Astabakra Samhita Chapter 17 Verse 19

The True Knower of the Soul has no feeling of ‘I’ and ‘Mine’, realizing that nothing really exists. All his inner desires have ceased. The Knower of reality, really does not act though he may appear to be acting.

On Happiness

सुखादिरूपा नियमं  भावेष्वालोक्य भूरिशः।
शुभाशुभे विहायास्मादहमासे यथासुखम्॥१३- ७॥
sukhādi rūpā niyamaṃ bhāveṣvālokya bhūriśaḥ
śubhā śubhey vihāyāsmādahamāse yathā sukham

Astabakra Samhita Chapter 13 Verse 7

Experiencing again and again, the temporariness of happiness and unhappiness and their varieties in different situations, I have given up preferences of good and bad. I live happily.
