Self Realization

Kriya Yoga has been in existence since time immemorial. It has been described and practiced under different names through ages. In The Bhagavad Gita, 4th Chapter, God Himself revealed these Self-Realizing happiness and peace-giving techniques to the earliest leaders of human beings. At the beginning of Kaliyug, Mahavatar Babaji brought it out from antiquity and set in a silent, slow but steady spiritual revolution, to reduce the sufferings of human beings and for God-realization.

These techniques are taught personally by the Guru to the disciple or father to the son and passed on to posterity. Many of these techniques have been described in the ancient classic Yoga Classics such as:

  • Gheranda Samhita
  • Gorakhya Samhita
  • Shiva Samhita
  • Hatha Pradapika

However, these are known as Gurumukhi Vidya, i.e. to be learned personally from the Guru. Though many traditions passed it on, the modern-day teachings have passed on from Mahavatar Babaji to Lahiri Mahasaya and his many illustrious disciples, who formed and continued the lineage of Kriya Yoga.

Some of these Kriya Yoga Masters are,

  • Sri Yukteswar
  • Swami Pranabananda
  • Panchanan Bhattacharya
  • Sanyal Mahasaya
  • Sons of Lahiri Mahasaya
  • Swami Kebalananda
  • Swami Kesavananda

Paramahansa Yogananda

Very few selected people knew about these techniques and kept it alive. Paramahansa Yogananda, published his all-time bestseller, an epoch-making book “Autobiography of a Yogi”. Then the closely guarded techniques left the boundaries of India, became a Global movement and finally Cosmic.

Tatva Siddhi

Only through these, one can escape the sins of anger, fear, hatred, jealousy, criticizing others, intolerance, unhealthy and negative rivalry. Also, these ones can prevent psychosomatic diseases and usher in a healthier, harmonious, happier age. We plan to bring out a series of articles on Kriya Yoga. The will showcase its different techniques, their benefits, and the scientific systematic co-relations.

Granthi Veda

It necessitates the basic knowledge of the Spine, Brain, the Chakras, and Correlation of scientific, Pranic, Symbolic, and Spiritual aspects. The OM symbolizes the Totality of God’s Power and Presence. Since the early days of the Holy Scriptures, The Vedas and The Upanishads, volumes have been written about it. Om is the mystic symbol of the Subtlest Life Energy (creative energy). It is the Totality of Time and Space; the Creation and The Creator; Past, Present & Future. It is also Maya and Maya Atheetha. The wakeful, dream, deep sleep, and Samadhi status known as Turiya (Turiyaateeta, beyond Turiya also).

Chakra Correlation

Each Chakra has learned correlation too. These are not only physiological and anatomical structures but also Pranic or Life Energy centers. These are also symbolic of different levels of vital awareness as the Kriya Yoga student progresses to different Lokas or levels of the Cosmic Experiences.

What is a Chakra ?

The name Chakra is a Sanskrit word, meaning whirling or revolving radiating Energy substance, full of vital energy and is very subtle. It can wax and wane in its vitality levels. The Chakras are also described as petals of Lotus (Padma flower). There are 8 Chakras.

chakras and 'OM' Sadhana

These are the major or main Chakras.

In addition to these,  there are many more minor or lesser Chakras. Many other spiritual paths other than Kriya Yoga also use these Chakra Systems for their Sadhana such as The Tantras, Tantric Buddhism, The Aghoris and many others.

Chakra Healing

Remove negative energy by correctly practicing the Om Sadhana. One can remove the negative harmful energy from the chakras and attain the Chakra harmony or Chakra Balancing. One can also prevent the bad effects of stars and planets. Scientifically speaking, these techniques can revitalize the different Nerve Plexuses along the anterior aspect of the spine and the vertebral column. Thus, this can prevent many diseases of the internal organs of the human system.
