The Method of asking thhhe for Knowledge – The Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 4 Verse 34

तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया |
उपदेक्ष्यन्ति ते ज्ञानं ज्ञानिनस्तत्त्वदर्शिन: || 34||

“TAD VIDDHI PRANI PAATYNA PARI PRASNENA SEVAYAA
UPADEKHYANTI TAY GNYAANAM GNYAANINASTATWA DARSHAHH”

(Bhagavad Gita Chapter 4 Verse 34)

The disciple should approach the Guru with reverence and sincerity, bow to him, serving him and overcoming ego, ask him questions and for knowledge. Thus, the Guru will teach him spiritual knowledge and clear
his doubts.
