The Inner Self – Swetaswatara Upanishad Chapter3 Verse20

अणोरणीयान् महतो महीया-
नात्मा गुहायां निहितोऽस्य जन्तोः ।
तमक्रतुः पश्यति वीतशोको
धातुः प्रसादान्महिमानमीशम् ॥ २०॥

anoraniyaam mahato mahiyaa
naatmaa guhaayaam nihitiasya jantoh
tama kratum pashyati beetashoko
dhaatuh prasaadaan mahimaanamisaam”

(Swetaswatara Upanishad Chapter3 Verse20)

The Inner Self, abides, hidden deep in the hearts of all beings. It is smaller than the smallest and greater than the greatest. Only by Its grace and favour one can perceive and realize one’s oneness, with the greatest and highest Inner Self, Brahmam, Supreme Self, which is free from all desires. Only then, one can go beyond all sorrows and sufferings.
